Sulphur Condensers for Refinery and Gas Processing Systems

Sulphur condensers are used in sulfur recovery units (SRUs) to cool process gas and condense elemental sulfur produced by the Claus process. They are specialized heat exchangers that operate after the reaction phase.

The heat exchanger’s primary function is to remove heat from the process gas and separate condensed sulfur from the gas stream.
